They are my #1 band! I go see them live every time they are within driving distance, and of course I by all their albums. I support what they do 100%!
Why are you a fan of Megadeth?
I have loved them since I was 15. They are consistant with the type of music they put out. They are loyal to their fans all over the world! You can tell that Dave and the band truely appreciate their followers!
Have you got any interesting Megadeth stories for us?
I went to see Megadeth live for the Rust in Peace tour back in 1990. I was in the front row against the metal barricade. A huge dude was crowd surfing and the security guys pulled this guy down on top of my head and busted my face against the barricade! My nose and eyes were bruised up and thankfully not broken! I had to get out of the crowd and miss Megadeth from the front row due to the pain! The next time they came to town was for the Countdown tour. My friends and I agreed to stay near the back and watch the show. At the end of the show, Nick Menza threw out a drumstick right in my direction. Right after I caught the stick, some guy bum rushed me to the ground and was fighting me for the stick! Needless to say, I still have that stick in my possesion. I haven't been hurt at a show since, so hopefully I have broken the curse.

It's a killer album, the best since the early 90's in my opinion. I can't stop playing this CD and I kept it in my CD player for around 2 months
What does being a true Megafan mean to you?
This is hard to answer but I will try my best - 1st that I'm with my bro and sis of true metal sharing the same taste in real metal, 2nd showing my support and standing by what I love and had loved for the last 20 yrs. By this Sept it's 20 yrs since I got RIP when I was just 14 \m/
Why are you a fan of Megadeth?
True Metal = Megadeth. Also cause Megadeth were the 2nd band that introduced me to metal. My 1st metal album was for Iron Maiden, the 2nd Rust In Peace. That was when I was 14. This was in Sept 1990 and it was hard to find metal albums back then. It was a long walk, many day saving my cash, finally finding a killer tape that rock non stop and adds to my enjoyment of life and true music
Have you got any interesting Megadeth stories for us?
It was back in 1999, I was in Scotland and dying to find a Deth tshirt. I heard about a place far far away that sells metal tshirts so in a country like Scotland you have to take one bus that will take me to the train station, then the 2nd bus after the train station, and then I have to walk to the shop which was maybe a hour away and being that I was a tourist, I thought the shops timing were no differ than the shop timing that I have in my own country, which for my country from 10AM till 9PM. But I found the hard way that they were from 9AM till 5PM. Only this finding came when I was maybe 30 min away from the shop, so I had to run in the killer cold weather (and the air cuts like a knife) but I got there 2 min before closing and I was happy that I got my Cryptic Writings tshirts that I kept wearing till 2002 non stop, and I would do this again if I have to \m/
