I have chosen a working title and I think that it is going to stick, and the record starts out with an instrumental that is very much like "Into The Lungs Of Hell," and there are 10 more songs that are really fantastic. February 23, 2009 - 82-YEAR-OLD OWEN BROWN 'A HIT' WITH ROCK LEGENDS
An 82-year-old heavy metal fan from Herefordshire has been inundated with gifts from bands after hearing about his love for rock. Last month, Owen Brown spoke to BBC NEWS about his longstanding love affair with rock music. Now, Owen has become "something of a global superstar" and the BBC report has reached millions Internet wide including some of his favorite bands Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and Def Leppard. February 20, 2009 - DAVE MUSTAINE INTERVIEWED IN GLASGOW; VIDEO AVAILABLE
STV's John Kilbride conducted an interview with Dave Mustaine shortly before the band took to the stage at Glasgow's SECC arena on February 16, 2009 as part of the "Priest Feast" tour with Judas Priest and Testament. Watch the 10-minute chat below. Regarding new song "1,320", the first title to be confirmed from Megadeth's forthcoming album, Dave said, "It's a song about drag racing. A quarter-mile track in America is 1,320 feet long. On our web site right now everyone is asking, 'What the hell is 1320?' It's a measure of distance from the start to the finish line." Dave Mustaine has issued the following album update: "I am sitting in my office at 5:30ish AM and am typing this as I try to wake up. Yesterday, Andy Sneap went back to the UK for a while, as we are preparing to go out on the Priest Feast Tour. This means effectively that the recording has stopped, until we return in March/April. We finished all of the rhythm and bass guitars, as well as the drums being finished for a couple weeks now, and I think I even heard some acoustic layers. The reaction from our management, family, friends (the real critics), and my number one judge and coach Justis, has been pretty positive."  MORE
