The entire Priest Feast tour in Europe was a total blast for me, but after 6 1/2 weeks I was very happy just to be at home and watch the grass grow for a while I was the 1st to depart for the airport from Amsterdam in the early AM, which was perfect for me, as it was quite easy to sleep for 3/4 of the flight home (only 2 hours left when I did wake up) so I am already getting acclimated to the 5 hour time difference, which has usually been quite a painful experience on previous journey's home from oversees." MORE

March 26, 2009 - "SCARS TO FREEDOM" EVENT POSTPONED
The Scars To Freedom event featuring a live performance by Megadeth and others which was to take place this Saturday, March 28 in Palm Springs, CA has been postponed. The following statement has been posted at ScarsToFreedom.com: "Due to production difficulties, the Scars to Freedom event has been postponed. This in NO WAY reflects our mission and goals. Scars to Freedom is and will continue to provide FREE scar revision to any wounded soldier. Detail on the new date will be forthcoming." Megadeth were confirmed to perform and were disappointed to hear of the cancellation, and wanted to say "thanks for considering us to play for these brave men and women."

March 25, 2009 - JAMES LOMENZO VISITS NOTRE DAME IN PARIS, FRANCE
James LoMenzo has posted the following about his time recently in Paris while on the "Priest Feast" tour: "It's the day of the "Priest Feast" show in Paris and I thought I'd get out extra early and hoof it to Notre Dame. Haven't been there since '88, and seeing as how Dave, Tracey and myself went to the Louvre, Tower di Effile and Arch di Triumph last time we were here, I thought I'd reconnect with one of my favorite places to view Paris. So, off I went with map in one hand and iPhone/camera in the other. 20 minutes from the hotel I was taken slightly aback by the sight of a street lined with no less then 10 Old French Whores,... no disrespect here, after all, it is the "oldest profession". March 18, 2009 - ANDY SNEAP TO RETURN IN APRIL FOR FINAL MONTH OF TRACKING
Reactivated British thrashers Sabbat have cancelled their appearance at the Hammerfest 2009 festival, set to take place April 24-25 at at Pontins, Prestatyn Sands, North Wales. The decision to call of the show was made as a result of guitarist Andy "Undie" Sneap's "schedule being moved forward producing the new Megadeth album in California," according to a statement released by Sabbat. "He now returns to San Diego on April 10 to begin the final month of tracking, returning to the U.K. to mix for June deadline." Sneap states, "Apologies for this, but the day job has to come first."

Megadeth has been confirmed as the headliner of the first annual Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards on April 7 at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles.
