June 29, 2010 - 'BIG FOUR' CONCERT TO GET DVD RELEASE
History was made on June 22 in Sofia, Bulgaria, as Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax — the "Big Four" of 1980s thrash metal — joined forces onstage for the finale, a cover of the Diamond Head classic, "Am I Evil?". The Sofia concert will see a DVD/Blu-Ray release later this year showcasing the entire concert including two hours of Metallica, and one hour each of Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The 2-disc package is due out in September and will include the "Am I Evil?" jam, backstage footage, and interviews.

June 25, 2010 - 'BIG FOUR' CINECAST SEEN BY 100,000 METAL FANS
Andrew Paine of Billboard.com reports that the Sonisphere cinecast from the Sofia, Bulgaria leg of the touring rock festival was seen by more than 100,000 fans, according to promoter Stuart Galbraith. The global June 22 cinecast featured the "Big Four" of 1982 thrash metal — Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax — and was beamed via satellite in HD to cinemas. June 24, 2010 - 'RUST IN PEACE LIVE' DVD TO BE RELEASED IN SEPTEMBER
The final night of Megadeth's historic month-long "Rust In Peace" 20th anniversary tour has been captured for the upcoming "Rust In Peace Live" Blu-ray, DVD and CD, due out September 7 on Shout! Factory. The concert was recorded at The Palladium in Hollywood on March 31, 2010 and was directed by Kerry Asmussen. The 80-minute DVD and Blu-ray will also include behind-the-scenes footage, including a rare glimpse of the band rehearsing in their dressing room as they prepare to take the stage. Michael Wright for Gibson.com has posted the following article commenting on Megadeth's contribution to the forthcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game: "At the end of the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game, after the player has advanced through a gauntlet of Black Sabbath, Muse, Slayer and other nigh impossible challenges, the final obstacle at the end of it all will be a brand new track from metal titans Megadeth. Activision, publishers of Guitar Hero, commissioned Dave Mustaine and company to write the ultimate finger thresher. June 7, 2010 - SEYMOUR DUNCAN REP WITH MUSTAINE & ELLEFSON AT ROCK IN RIO
In May 2010, Rock in Rio, one of the world’s largest Brazilian outdoor music festivals, made Lisbon Portugal its home for a week of some of the best concerts from the world's biggest acts. Over five nights, the festival featured names as varied as Shakira, John Mayer, Elton John, Muse, and Miley Cyrus. The last night in Lisbon was “Metal Night” with an all-star lineup that featured Megadeth, Motörhead and Soulfy – all bands that rely on Seymour Duncan for their tone.

June 5, 2010 - DAVE MUSTAINE DISCUSSES MEGADETH'S 'GUITAR HERO' CONTRIBUTION
Chris Harris of RollingStone.com reports that the new Megadeth track, "Sudden Death" will serve as the finger-busting finale to the forthcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game. Dave Mustaine says the track is brutal, and "I'm sure some fans will think it's the greatest thing we've ever done. But other people will say it sucks. That's just the way of the world." To beat the game's last stage boss, players will have to master Megadeth's "Sudden Death".
"I thought it was a great idea for us," says Mustaine. "We've had experience with games in the past, and our songs have been in sports games and Grand Theft Auto, but we never really got into the Guitar Hero thing. Delivering the largest on-disc rock music set list to-date, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock features more than 90 tracks that include guitar shredding hits from bands such as Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Slipknot and larger than life anthems from Queen, Muse and KISS.
