David Ellefson and Chris Broderick talk about their signature Jackson guitars and the Megadeth sound in the new issue of Premier Guitar magazine. Ellefson: "There’s a long history with me and Jackson, starting as far back as 1986 or ’87. I had Grover Jackson make my very first Concert Bass for me. The BC Rich Mockingbird bass guitar that David Ellefson used on the "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying" album, video and tour, has been donated for display at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Current owner of the bass, Cory N. comments, "This is a monumental piece of music history and absolutely deserves to be on display and admired. Megadeth is confirmed to headline the "Maquinaria Festival" at Club Hipico in Santiago, Chile on Saturday, November 12, 2011. The full line-up for the festival is yet to be announced. The "Big Four" bands of 1980s thrash metal — Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax — played the second show of their current European tour earlier tonight (Sunday, July 3) at Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Members of Megadeth and Anthrax joined Metallica on stage for a cover of Diamond Head's classic song "Am I Evil?" before Metallica ended the night with "Creeping Death".
