Question
Hi ScorpioN,
While listening brilliant track "Go To Hell' I've started to wonder who the female voice in the beginning of the song belongs to.
Could you tell me this information please? :)
Thanks!
Alex from Russia
Answer
Hi Alex,
The female voice on the track "Go To Hell" is that of David Ellefson's wife. Her maiden name was Julie Foley at the time and that would be her credit on the recording.
Dave Mustaine asked her to do it and was recorded at The Enterprise Studios in Burbank in 1991 for the film soundtrack "Bill and Ted Go To Hell" but was later retitled "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey".
Ironically, this song released within only a few weeks of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" that contained the same prayer! Neither Megadeth or Metallica knew each other was recording it.
