Was he using a pick all the time or some of bass lines were recorded with his fingers?

Hey Vlad,
Great question! David is known for using a pick to play the bass guitar, besides just being a kick-a$^ bass player. He uses a pick for tone, precision, and consistency both playing live and recording, so most all of the bass lines are recorded with a pick. He talks a little more about his decision to use a pick in his autobiography, "My Life With Deth", so you should check it out.
