Al Kratina for Canada.com caught up with Dave Mustaine prior to Megadeth's performance at Montreal's Heavy Metal Festival on July 24. "That whole period, going from Panic to Metallica to Megadeth, that seemed like it was over in the blink of an eye," Mustaine says. "One day, I'm a teenager playing in a backyard beer-keg party band, the next day I'm in a rehearsal room starting one of the greatest heavy metal bands in the world. And then a year later, I'm in one of the second-greatest heavy metal bands in the world."
