Rock Radio's Paul Anthony caught up with David Ellefson before the band's set on June 12 at U.K.'s Download Festival. When Paul spoke to Ellefson at last year's Download Festival he had recently been in touch with Dave Mustaine again. Today Ellefson says, "it's funny about that because actually the day that I went to go back to Ohio to rehearse for Ripper's tour that we were chatting at, Dave sent me a text that morning just to say 'Hey, how are you? I've been thinking about you, how you doing?' and we chatted back and forth the rest of that day and we just left it on a real good positive note and I could just tell we were going to end up here one day and I kind of had a feeling it was going to be this year.
