When asked about her personal experience working with Dave Mustaine, Wiedeman said, "Dave Mustaine is a genuine soul ??? extremely, extremely intelligent. There was never a day that went by where I did not learn something amazing from him, like where sushi comes from, or something about your internal system... just the most amazing things. And you're like, 'You're a heavy metal superstar. How do you know these things?' And he has an extremely hilarious sense of humor as well."
"Dave and I are, luckily... we're kind of like brother and sister. So it was always phenomenal touring with him, because my philosophy for touring, being a tour manager, is we are all family. It doesn't matter to me who you are on the tour or what you're doing ??? to me, we're all the same, and we're all there to support each other and to help each other, and that doesn't always happen on a tour."
"There's plenty of times where, unfortunately, the support acts are treated as lesser equals, let's say, and that's not my philosophy. And, luckily, Dave always supported that philosophy as well, so we were able to always create an entire family atmosphere on a tour. And there were even plenty of times where Dave would tell the other artist, 'If any of your gear breaks down and you need to borrow any of my gear, you can do so,' and you don't hear artists saying that very often. So, on our tours, it was a major sense of family, and we were lucky to have that because you don't always get that on tour."
